Here are the announcements for activities taking place in and around Baltimore, Maryland in July 2015:
- Every Wednesday from 6-8 p.m., the Cylburn Arboretum will host free jazz concerts. (Please remember that bible enrichment class begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday.)
- Every Thursday, the American Visionary Arts Museum offers free movies at 9 p.m. (If you are looking for something to do before the movie, they offer free admission on Thursdays from 5-9 p.m.)
- The Shops at Kenilworth and Little Italy also offer free movies during the summer. Bring your chairs and your family, as there are prizes, music, games, and free popcorn.
- Port Discovery has medieval themed logo creations on display from now until September. AAA, AARP, and Brick Bodies members receive discounts, as do military personnel. Every third Friday, admission is $2.00 per person after 4 pm.
- July 7 is Global Forgiveness Day (This is a day to forgive and a day for others to offer you forgiveness. This is a perfect time to share how your new life in Christ began.)
- On July 11, 18, and 25th at 8:30 a.m., the Cylburn is also offering free yoga classes, so bring your mat and enjoy this outdoor activity.
- July 11 is Free Slurpee Day at 7Eleven.
- July 14, anyone who dresses like a cow for Cow Appreciation Day can receive a free meal at Chick-Fil-A.
- July 17-19th, Artscape takes place in Mount Royal.
- July 25th, Praise 106.1FM is sponsoring “Unity in the Community” at Druid Hill Park from noon until 8 p.m. Some of the featured performers are JJ Hairston, Jason Nelson, Vashawn Mitchell, and Maurette Brown-Clark.
